DESCRIPTION

Students will answer the question Who am I?. This mediation will encourage students to become more open-minded about different cultures and lifestyles. Cultures have visible and hidden elements. But visible cultural differences are only ten percent of our cultural identities: hidden cultural differences including values, assumptions, and beliefs represent the remaining ninety percent of our cultural identity. By promoting diversity in the classroom, we foster an environment in which students of all backgrounds feel included and supported.
