In this mediation, we’ll explore the expressive world of self-portraits through the lens of photography and selfies! We’ll reflect on how images of ourselves can tell powerful stories about identity, emotions, and the way we choose to be seen. By analyzing different examples and discussing the narratives behind them, students will gain insight into the artistic potential of self-portraiture. They’ll then have the chance to create their own photographic self-portraits that reflect personal meaning and intention.
