AEP – C1- Owning Poetry A Claim to Identity- Self-directed
DESCRIPTION
In this mediation, we’ll explore the powerful world of latin american poetry! We’ll explore how poets use language, culture, and identity to shape their voices and tell their stories. Through dynamic readings and engaging discussions, students will analyze works by Latinx poets, uncovering the richness of bilingualism and the strength of personal narrative. Then, inspired by these voices, participants will craft and refine their own poems—experimenting with language, rhythm, and performance to express who they are. Expect an expressive and empowering session filled with poetic exploration, cultural connection, and creative self-discovery. Get ready to write, share, and celebrate your voice.
