DESCRIPTION

By revealing the presence of English within everyday Spanish (Spanglish), students recognize existing knowledge and reframe their relationship with the language. Through reflection, discovery, and guided transformation activities, we aim to promote linguistic awareness and confidence so they can identify their prior knowledge and debunk the belief that they’re starting from scratch on this learning path.
