DESCRIPTION

In this cultural mediation, students learn about important and popular U.S. celebrations through maps, short readings, and discussion. They compare celebrations with their own culture and reflect on values behind them. The session ends with students creating a new or improved celebration, encouraging creativity, cultural awareness, and meaningful communication.
