Privilege Walk: An exploration of own identities

This experience will be living proof of how different and at the same time how equal we all are. We will guide students to become aware of varous forms of priviledge. They will understand the intersectionality of race, socioeconomic class, gender, and other demographic variables that shape individuals. we will help them appreciate the diversity of individual backgrounds; and team-building to raise awareness in diversity and inclusion.

Proud of who we are

Encourage students to become more open-minded about different cultures and lifestyles. Cultures have visible and hidden elements. But visible cultural differences are only ten percent of our cultural identities: hidden cultural differences including values, assumptions, and beliefs represent the remaining ninety percent of our cultural identity. By promoting diversity in the classroom, we foster an environment in which students of all backgrounds feel included and supported.
